prison love

Are you in Love with Love?

What drives women to become romantically involved with men who commit heinous crimes?

I don’t know what you can call the recently accused Lawyer Davine Murray relationship with Mt Eden Prisoner Liam Reid… are they dating???
because he sure can’t go anywhere!

Aneta our sustainable and ethical stylist has tried to steer our blind love in the right direction – kind of…

First… put Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner in his Care Package

Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner love 2

This beautifully sustainable product creates blinding love and great hair.  The two special ingredients in Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner – The Indian Fig Extract and the Borage Oil – are not only good for you but also essential to keep you beautiful!

This maybe the oldest trick in the book… hide a cellphone in a hand delivered cake

Fig Cheesecake

Lemon & Fig Cheesecake with Borage oil – Aneta’s favourite

{raw, vegan, gluten free – Aneta’s good influence on us}

A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and if you want a lot of contact you need a cellphone.  A person who is in love with the idea of love sees prospective partners through the cellphone lens of idealism.

Like the Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner it is good to keep a theme with your man… looks like you are clever and creative.

Figs are packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber and pigment anti-oxidants but low in calories!  Yes you can have a slice.

Borage Oil is a little secret for keeping your skin healthy. It is a natural oil that not only restores moisture and smoothness to dry and damaged skin, but can also provide relief to people who suffer from chronic skin disorders such as eczema and atopic dermatitis.

This cheesecake makes 8-12 servings

Crust ingredients:

1 cup pecans

1 cup raisins

Cheesecake ingredients:

2 cups cashews

1 tbsp Borage oil

1/3 cup coconut oil

1 cup dried figs

Juice of 1 lemon (NZ in season)

½ cup water (as needed)

¼ cup maple syrup, agave nectar,

date paste or other sweetener (if desired)

Fresh sliced figs

To make the crust:

Process the pecans into a rough flour in your food processor.

Add the raisins and process until everything begins to stick together.

Press into the bottom a small spring form pan.

To make the cheesecake:

Blend all the ingredients until smooth, adding the Borage oil*  and melted coconut oil last and making sure it all combines completely. The mixture should be very thick and creamy.

Scoop onto your crust and spread evenly.

Put in the fridge, covered for 1-2 days so the flavours can develop.

Garnish with the fresh figs and enjoy with the one you love!
